Wattage Distribution Question

Just trying to verify.

Information area...

Amp:
- 600 watts @2 ohm
- 600 watts @4 ohm
- 300 watts @8 ohm

Cabs:
- 1x12, 8 ohm
- 2x12, 4 ohm


Now, the verification/question area...

Connected to both cabs, will the Amp throw:
- 600 watts at the 2x12 (300 watts per driver)
- 300 watts at the 1x12 (300 watts)
or...
- 300 watts at the 2x12 (150 watts per driver)
- 300 watts at the 1x12 (300 watts)


I assume the first scenerio, not hoping for the second.
Please verify.

Oh - 600 watts into a 600 watt RMS seem perfect, or wattage should be less or more?

You cannot connect both cabs, as it will be a load of 2.67 ohms

so long as the amp is good with a 2 ohm load, all 3 spkrs will get the same power, iow, a balanced rig. Nice.

Neither of those. It will be roughly 400 watts for the 2 X 12 and 200 watts for the 1 X 12.
