Man, I'd never heard of this line of gear until a rehearsal last week at Euphoria in NYC: had 2 powered 2/10's with the single chan pre. What a killer sounding rig, so responsive, easy to dial in a good sound, and the best thing: it just disappeared, didn't have to keep tweaking it. Used my '71 P-bass strung with DR Hi-Beams.

Well, I'm about to join this "club". It appears to be a small group that has these amps. I have talked with Wayne via email and in Facebook messenger and he's a really cool guy. Otto is awesome as well :-) and I'm hoping to have the rig in a week or so. Powered 2x10 and the Valve Pre on the way.

I'm a little afraid of how different it's going to be from my GB Streamliner into a Tecamp S212 (which has been my rig for 6 years now) but I've been in the Studio for a couple of months playing into an Avalon and through amazing Studio monitors, so I'm getting used to uncolored sound and good gear ....... Time will tell! ......

I've backlined this rig for a big local show (4 bands, all different style players) and have had the chance to record and play it and a few gigs now. I will say, it's the best sounding rig I've owned. I am however having issue with the weight and layout of the cab. It's really annoying where the "handles" were put. If you choose to carry the cab, you end up forced to carry it as a "wide" load that barely fits through doorways, and certainly doesn't navigate around corners, or up the stairs to a stage. Also, the telescoping handle/casters are on the "narrow" side meaning as you turn corners you are forced to try and keep the thing from tipping. It's almost to the point of being a deal breaker to me. I've been doing this a long time and really am into the mobility of gigging with light and easy to carry gear. Trying real hard to not put this up for sale, but I'm just really disappointed in the footprint. Any thoughts from others that use this?

I agree that the handle placement is limited and wouldnt have been my first choice. Also the telescoping handle is a little short for my 6' frame. And the depth is serious. But the depth is integral to its performance, per a convo with Wayne. So there are some form factor issues, but for me, it outperforms much larger rigs so that has a serious degree of value.

I agree on both counts, Its a bear of a cab to move given that its a 2x10. Awkward as heck relative to what's out there. I use a Porta-cart (or whatever) 2 wheeler and just wheel it from its side.

... every time the setup is done and its time to hit .... daaaaamn ... what a friggin sound!!! Whole other dimension.

I guess I need more of those holy sh@# moments to make lugging it around better....

If it was comparable to a 210 or even 310 the form factor would be bordering on deal breaker, but the fact that it’s volume output and “sound stage“ is on par with most 410’s kind of opens up the picture of form factor comparisons. It also happens to sound much much better than most for tens, regardless of volume

I'm the odd man out then because i think the handle placement makes it easier to carry. It prevents knee knocking the cab and makes going up and down stairs easier. Seems lighter carrying the weight higher up on the body too. I must be different....
