Sorry friend, but the europeans (particularly those in the UK) will forever wear the crown when it comes to beer.
Let's not discount the crafty Japanese. These guys have some mighty tasty beverages, not to mention servers.

Of course, Americans don't get to lecture anyone on beer. Brown water doesn't bass as beer anywhere else in the world. I don't know why you accept it in the USA!A wine drinking snob who listens to classical music with his shirt tucked into his underwear has no right to officiate on the status of beer, Mr. Latimour. Especially Australian beer. If you're going to come to the defense of Australia you should have fled from the country in the first place. Additionally, there's no hiding in London. Australian can not be passed off as cockney. Give up the charade.![]()

Both Kirin and Yebisu make a nice porter. While I cannot discount that the Japanese excel in .... certain areas... Their beer is far too light for my tastes. When they make a nice porter, or bitter ale, let me know, but until then I'm sticking with the europeans. For beer.

Coopers is Australian for Beer. Fosters is Australian for poop, which, I suppose means that Fosters is American for MakiSupaStar.

Here is wisdom.A wine drinking snob who listens to classical music with his shirt tucked into his underwear has no right to officiate on the status of beer, Mr. Latimour.
That's far too passive an opinion to take, especially on something that we can control.
