Weirdo Bass Players' Club

I don't eat parakeets. Parakeets are sweet and kind and warm and fuzzy.

I prefer them over people. If I could teach them to play music I'd have my own parakeet band.

Budgie already beat me to the name.
Ahh, so true. I got my parrotlets downstairs with their adorable babies (4 weeks of age) and my green cheeked conure, Buddy and, my two cockatiels who fly around. :D Milo (my cockatiel) would be the singer of the band. Or an amazon, even though they're not parakeets.

I want in on this too. Two clubs in one day!

My rationale: I really wanted to play banjo, but my mom bought me a bass instead. My main musical influence was the movie Deliverance. I try to approach bass like a banjo player, so to list my musical influences I would have to say the kid with the big ears in Deliverance and the guy who played banjo on Hee-Haw, whatever his name is. And I really dig that tune I heard on the radio the other day. I don't recall the name of the song… I'm pretty sure you would have heard of it. There might be banjo on it, but then again I'm not really sure.
