Weiredest thing you've ever done with your bass.

Well it was a hot summer night .We both had too much to drink. The car broke down out on a lonley dark country road. the whole thing is still a little blurry . i remember her body-exotic, A headstock to die for ......strung with High Beams........... a night to remember for sure...... We played untill the sun came up.......

Had a few (to many) beers spray painted my bass white poured some red paint in an empty beer can and splattered it all over the bass, woke up the next mourning and thought it looked pretty cool so left it that way, it's nick name became the Bloody Bass

Had a big jam with some guys once and overindulged. I sat on a milk crate with my back against the wall, playing my 4001 like an upright.

LOL, I've done that too, but only at band practice where nobody can see me :ninja:

I once used my bass as a dinner table. We were practicing at my trumpet players house and stopped for a dinner break. When the pizza arrived, we stayed to eat in the living room where we were playing. He has a small coffee table, but with a 7-piece band space was limited. So I sat in a swiveling office chair, flipped my bass string-side-down on my lap, and put a paper towel across the back.
And let me tell you, the backside of a Fender Jazz Bass is the perfect size and flatness to eat off of. Didn't spill a drop.:D
