that sound fun. i'd been thinking some time ago that I should do something like this when get a xbike or a car - just take a few things, a few instruments and go out into the wilderness with noone around and relax.. 
Well it definitely wasn't 'with no one around'. We had a big ol' crowd o' hippies to hang out with. I find that when I'm down there, a lot of people that wouldn't ever talk to me do so, and a lot of people I wouldn't talk to, I do so, as well.
It's a different kind of place. And it's finishing tomorrow night.

Well. It's that time again...but I can't go. 
This weekend is the Kerrville Wine and Music Festival, kind of like the Folk Festival, but only three days, in stead of 18...and with more wine, although probably no less beer.
On a sad note: I was intending to attend Sunday, especially, for the memorial service for Allen Damron, who passed away recently from cancer. He was a mainstay for that place and will be sorely missed.

I'm back. I had fun. And I took a metric buttload of pictures.

The official White House photographer takes 700-1000 pictures per day. How many did you take?

Clearly he's using the Imperial system, in which one Hobuncha equals 2.2 buttloads. It's a simple conversion.
