More of my black Bongo. I know there are some knockers out there, but I just love the lines of the Bongo, albeit I will admit that the worst angle is probably front on, which is how most folks see it!

I have the piezo bridge, and I think it opens up the bass a lot more. It helps when your strings aren't so fresh -- you can get that very grinding "Stingray" tone out of the bridge pickup even when you're strings are a little older. Someone also once said it helps tame the neck pickup (I agree completely). It does even out the sound of the neck pickup quite nicely since it can get a little muddy.
Since the piezo pickup is going through the same EQ, rolling off the highs rolls off the highs from the piezo too, but the piezo is still opening up the sound even with the highs rolled off.

It wouldn't kill me not to have the piezo option, but I do like it and I'm gland I got one with it :)

I simply love the versitility (of the bongos in general, but the piezo does add to that). For instance, with all the pickup controls in the middle position, I can get a very bassy tone by using the flat of my middle finger over the next pickup. When if I want more of a trebly/grinding tone, I can dig in a little over the bridge pickup and the piezo picks this up nicely.
