Ok my fellow Bongonians!!!
I have officially lost my mind.....
I am letting go of my prized as new mint DARGIE II BONGO 4H !!!!

I know I am nuts....But I have huge gas for a Reflex HSS 4.....

And I still will have a sweet Lava Pearl Bongo to represent the Bongoheads.....

I just listed this in the for sale forum here...
Just passing a friendly headsup to you guys while it remains available....

Honestly...I think it is a candy red...I think it is just the lighting makes it look darker...
and the color balance is off...it is a bit blueish...making it look more purple in the shot...
I almost bought a rolls burgundy Big Al...and It has more of a dim dullish look to the color...more murky looking ...opaque-ness....where as the candy red has more of that classic EMBB Pearl to the paint.....

I think the one in question is a candy red in a non accurate image posted...thats all...
thats my sherlock holmes on it...hahaha!! :D

I headlined a show last night and the warmup band's bassist was using a Stingray 5, when he came off stage he saw me holding my Bongo 5 and I told him I really liked his Ray, then he asked me "What is THAT"? when he saw what I was holding in MY hand. I told him it was a Bongo, he said, "Oh my God, I've never seen one in person before".
At the end of the night he wanted to buy it from me but I'm not sellin. :)

Oh that's just precious. Can't believe stingray owners that don't know what else EBMM manufacturers. whatever.

And congrats Projectapollo on that new DD Bongo, outstanding acquisition.

Well, ya might have seen I Just had a massive brain fart and sold my Dargie Delight II Bongo 4H to an awesome fellow TB'er recently. Projectapollo is about to be the new proud owner of her!! Congrats my friend!

However, I do still get to keep my Bongo Club number!!
My 2004 Lava Pearl 4HH will Still be part of the Collection :)

I think the lava pearl...the dargie and the true gold are my favorite Bongo colors....
I really love the all black stealth too with the ebony board...

If I ever hit the winning lottery ticket...
I am having a Bongo painted Ferrari yellow with all black stealth hardware!
Flat black Stealth pg and an Ebony fretboard of course to complete the package :)

ahhh, In a perfect world :D
