While I live in VT, and I'm very sensitive to the plight on salamanders, I question the amount of money that was spent on them...
I always did like Canada... they like black people up there don't they?
Most of the people I know, wouldn't even notice what you look like... they might however notice how well you play or if you have an attitude...I always did like Canada... they like black people up there don't they?

There are lots of hicks in the boonies of this country. They just don't sound like Darryl from the Ozarks.
yep,you can only be cool if you live in torYeah, Kwesi... Stay away from the small towns. There are lots of hicks in the boonies of this country. They just don't sound like Darryl from the Ozarks.
onto....but up until recently you couldn't buy a six pack after 6:00 pm......besides it's the boonies where the kids come from that actually know how to play the game....ie;bobby clarke is from flin flon, about 500 miles north of here....Well, they do have the hockey hall of fame there, so I must agree. However, Victoria is a kickin' place.

point taken......and it's caused a massive inferiority complex, especially in people who live in large eastern cities, who desire nothing more than to be considered "world class" in the eyes of an indifferent world....Why do Canadians call it the boonies like it is somewhere far away from you? Your WHOLE COUNTRY is in the boonies.

no offense to the op but welcome to what the rest of the population has been dealing with for 3 years

thats nice.....i'm glad you know where all the hicks are....Jim, seriously, pull your old, ignorant head out of your backside for once. I have never, NEVER, said anything about Toronto vs. the rest of the nation. Every time I post, you assume that's what I'm talking about. Why? What are you so hung up on that you have to make inferences about my posts? You know nothing about me. You don't know where I grew up, you don't know where I have lived previously. You don't know how many cities I've lived in, or how many rural areas I've lived in. Yet you feel the need to make yourself look like a complete dolt by assuming that because I currently live in Toronto, I have some sort of contempt for any other part of the country. Do you have any idea how completely moronic you look when you do that? Do us all a favor and stop responding to my posts; every time you do you just lose what little respect anybody here has for you.
With respect to my comment, it is common knowledge that much of Canada is rural. As someone intimately acquiainted with rural life in Canada, I can speak with authority that we do in fact have a fair portion of 'hillbillies', 'hicks' and other types known to culturally illiterate. So what, did I touch a nerve? is that it? Is that why you had to put in your two cents? Christ.
