Been rocking Labella LTFs on my MIJ Fender P for about 6-8 months now and have been liking them a good deal, but I've been watching some YouTube vids of P basses with rounds and thought I'd throw a set on for kicks and giggles.
It has been about 5 minutes since the swap, and I'm already eager to get the flats back on the bass. I've always been a rounds guy and I still have and like them on my Ray and J basses, but there definitely is something special about a P bass with a nice set of flats. There's a real chewiness to the mids that rounds just can't quite cope.
