I was just going to ask that. Doesn't make sense to me for the school to mess with someone's personal computer. Perhaps, they should be issuing computers to students for use at school.

This is the answer. Invite them in to what you are doing on the internet. If you are acting sneaky about what you are doing on the internet, they are going to be suspicious. If you are open about it, they are more likely to trust what you are doing.

Upon rereading your first post I saw that the school did issue the laptop. I missed that the first time around. Given that, the school does have every right to do what they are doing.

Perhaps your father can trade one or two of his guitars for a laptop for you. It's only the right thing for him to do.
