And for those wondering about whether I cant get a computer because of my parents money...e.g, we are 'well to do'. But, plus my dads guitar collection, we might be probably considered rich? I have other computers and devices in the house...but my parents could suspect me of watching things im not allowed to watch. They are good people just trying to protect me.

Scammers usually ask for something. Try to buy something from the classifieds and get them to agree to ship to Singapore. If you have to work hard to get anyone to take your money, they probably aren’t scammers.

what I mean is that, my school is slowly installing a security system in this computer(it is mine but the school is the admin of it) and will disable things like forums, websites that are not important for learning and so on...right now im just spending the time i have left here which is probably about 2 if not 1 month.

and worse comes to worse if it starts disabling everything during the holidays(high school year usually finishes around here)...

If ya'll come to singapore, try taking a look at the music stores there. If your going for the hip stuff, Swee lee is the best. If your going for japanses brands, davis guitar centre has your back. But, if you want to go find rare and vintage guitars or basses, try guitar connection...You MIGHT find me in swee lee at buona vista...either on saturdays or sundays. And, if you are there...Keep an ear out for PRIMUS BASSLINES or anything that sounds like les claypool's playing(flamenco style strumming etc.)Good luck!

I was just going to ask that. Doesn't make sense to me for the school to mess with someone's personal computer. Perhaps, they should be issuing computers to students for use at school.

So...basically I have been using talkbass for not too long...but I feel that, Im home! But, this home is gonna be taken away from me, as I was using talkbass on my personal computer that my school lent to me for 4 years(singapore is wild I know), without my parents permission(as they think im chatting with 'scammers'). And recently my school is setting up security systems for the computers as the old one was shut down due to hackers(womp womp)...thanks for the advice ya'll gave me on basses and what not...I would still be around until 7th january 2025...but, until then, thank you in advance. all of you.
