I kinda enjoyed the X-Men movies until they started mixing things up with the prequels and post-prequels and pre-sequels and whatnot.

Now, the convoluted timeline has got me confused to the point of "not interested anymore".

I'll probably watch it with the kids anyway and try to enjoy it on its own merits.

I am 100% with you on that. I just prefer the Logan/Wolverine character so anything focused on him I will watch.

I want an origin movie about Lady DeathStrike:

cue DIM to come calling & saying I enjoy reducing women to objects :bored:

They put long whispy hair on top of Patrick Stewart's head. As if to make him look more run down and nearing his end? But Patrick Stewart hasn't had hair on top of his head in fifty years. Charles Xavier presumably went bald and has been shaving the sides up until he accidentally killed all the xmen with a psychic seizure. That stupid little detail annoyed me the whole movie but it was great otherwise.

I'm not attracted to girls, no matter their shade of hair or ethnic background, but I am attracted to Asian women.
After spending as much time as I did in the region, I can tell you some are as different to me as a redhead vs. a blonde is to you.

BTW, our morality commentator DIM is going to blow a fuse upon returning to this thread :roflmao:

Since I don't like on TB and I know KBD hates to be left without a response (yet, ironically, also hates to fully respond to posts...)

You didn't realize it, because it's false!

we could use that ignore topic again...
a good way to get there is to accuse another person of being a thief (and bragging about it?)

But it isn't false. You are clearly getting upset that I am pointing out that streaming videos that you or the uploader lack a license to is stealing. That indicates you have no issues with stealing licensed material but you do have an issue with people pointing it out. Hence, you are pro-advocation of stealing.

This argument can go over and over again. But lets put it this way, you download something, STORE IT, and use it, that in the technical term is stealing. If you are STREAMING something, never owning/saving-it in short never keeping a copying it you are using a service no different than listening to a pirate radio station over the radio is not stealing. The product you are enjoying might use illegal means of providing the service, but they are doing the theft you aren't.

Get over yourself already.

No, there is no grey area. You and the uploader have no license to be sharing that movie. It is stolen material. If you have an issue with people pointing out that you are stealing movies you can easily remedy it by not stealing movies. By engaging people in theft, you are complicit in the crime of stealing. Pretty much all of us have stolen TV, that is a personal choice, but promoting stealing TV in a public forum is a different thing. We should not be advocating that kind of behaviour on TB particularly when there are TBers who make their living creating content.

Kelly Hu has fascinated me since The Scorpion King.
Lately I see her in a Viagra commercial, as if...

Your first post was only creepy because of the track record of who posted it. You are clearly reducing a woman to objects here. I don't why why you continue to engage in this behaviour yet continue to play victim when called out for this behaviour. I don't even know if you can tell the difference between being creepy and merely discussing looks. For example, saying "I am attracted to Asian women" is nowhere near the same league as "I see her in a viagra commercial, as if..." Lastly, I am hardly "blowing a fuse" over your behaviour. If you really think I am that deeply concerned that there is yet another creepy old man on TB, I'm not. I don't go out of my way to look for you or your content and it isn't hard to find you reducing women as you do it so regularly. It isn't like I had to stalk you to learn that is a behaviour you engage in. If you want to continue obsessing yourself with me and my actions, however, you are welcome to continue doing so. You wouldn't be my first internet stalker.

Thanks for confirm my post from the other day. People use the ignore function to shut down a conversation. Additionally, you have to make it known that the other person is ignored, it is that perfect chance for a last word, one that cannot be re-butted. If you ever decide to unblock me, we can continue this discussion like adults.

@DiabolusInMusic
If you are not in possession of it, you are not stealing. Simple as that!

Why don't you fire an e-mail to Marvel (the license holder) and see how they feel about it? You saying "it isn't stealing" does not make it so.

Your rationalization is technically moot.
Unlike what happens for an analog TV or FM signal, streaming digital audio or video implies downloading a copy of it first. When you're watching a YouTube video, its content is entirely stored in your browser cache. This is how you can go back and forth.

Getting into a movie theater without a ticket and watching the movie is still stealing anyway.
