I played the exact same model, I found if had a very full, woody sound, but lack definition IMO.

A very nice looking and solid bass. Thought about buying one myself (liked the look of the B5 more tho)

Nice snag, AllodoX! Looks pretty damned nice. I'd be worries abou the lack of a regular bridge, but hey, if it sounds and plays good, it IS good. Rock on man!

yeah i thought that too when it was plugged into the Ampeg SVT with 6x10..

but when i plugged into a hartke 4000 with a hartke 410XL and 2.5 XL, it sounded really different.. more punchy..

on my SWR workingman's 4004 and Eden CX210, it sounds real (!) deep.. the CX210 has distinct lows by itself, but this bass really kicks in the deep ! woah

Weren't you considering a solidbody Infinity too?

no.. traded the Iba(h!)nez and the Yamaha for the Cort, an Akai SB1 Deep Impact, a fretpolish canister and a belt.
