The Westboro Baptist Church consists of a group of people numbering almost less than a carton of eggs. How have they done so well to dictate public discourse and humor? I find the comparison to the KKK to be not valid. The KKK beat and killed people. Westboro holds signs and shouts. They both suck, but what they have done as groups is as different from the light and the day. But I digress as there are many KKK humor photos like this one.

I find the photo to be exceptionally humorous. I think I should tumblr this one.

If you look at my original post, I very specifically and purposely said "today's" KKK, not the KKK of the 1920's or the 1950s or 1960s. Today, the KKK mostly just holds signs and shouts, too. As such, I think the comparison to today's KKK is very close to today's WBC. Both are hate filled, very small, make tons of noise, and do not reflect current societal values. I think the comparison to today's KKK is very apt.

They need to be made fun of; satarized. As long as they are taken seriously, they will have power.

Just think how history would have been changed if someone early on had the "sense of humor" and daring to snatch Adolf Hitler's pants down ON A COLD DAY during a speach.
