what amp for small jazz gigs

well made another trip to local music stores here in the houston area today. there were some good and not so good amps heres my ranking
1. markbass -- great sounding with 2x10 but at $1100 not sure its worth it
2. acoustic b200 -very good sound at $325
3.various ampeg combos - good $500-700 300-600 watt range 1x15 and 2x10
4. line 6, gk in approx 300 watt -decent
5. all others sounded same...--- hard for me to tell the difference fenders , peavey etc. in the 500-$900 range.

I think im going to get number 2 the acoustic b2000.... for my mm sterling hs and old jazz bass for playing straight jazz with la bella flatwounds and no effects. I really appreciate everyones help. I think I am just going to wait for a guitar center sale and go for it. Im playing with acoustic instruments and drummer uses primarily brushes. Even though the trumpet can blow like pops we usually at moderate volumes.

IF anyone objects let me know or forever hold your peace:)
thanks again for all the help!!! Tremendous knowledge here on talkbass and I really appreicate it.
