What are my options, Made in the USA!

Most Laklands have the 35-inch scale. I'd say Lakland, too, with the J-Retro Deluxe electronics.

I would like to stay under $2500.00, but for the right bass I might stretch that a bit.

Before you hear any stupid banter on this forum... check out a TL-5.. you can switch it on/off .. have botique quality for under $550

A little known great American company is US Masters, they cost abouot the same as an Ibanez. Carvin is a great choice too.

I appreciate the ideas, but I am surprised at so little. Looks like my options might be less than I thought? There has to be other options. Carvin I would consider if I could touch one! I live on the East coast and they are on the West coast. I would like options that I can at least put my hands on, before I buy it!

I have to think any of the custom builders in the US could make a bass like that for close to $2,500. Mike Lull comes to mind. I am not up on all the builders, but I'm sure if you search a bit some names will come up.

there are many good makers out there. Even with the limiting "made in the USA " factor.

Carvin. You could probably get two nice basses for your budget, one bolt-on and one neck-thru, built to your specs.
