What are some aesthetically 80's basses?

Viellette-Citron. Kasim Sulton and Tina Weymouth played them. It was kind of an New York,
East Coast thing.
The company was only around for about 4 years, in the late 70’s/early 80s, but made great playing,
high quality basses and guitars.
I had one of their 8-string basses back then. Wish i had hung onto it, as they cost a fortune now.
A couple of years ago, I found this beautiful 4-string, and it’s one of the mainstays in my collection.
