Man havent thougth of the Minutemen in forever!!! I remember going to my music store and "special ordering" Double Nickles since they didnt carry them. Great band...though short lived. Adding em' to my list of must-haves.
Plus I thought it was cool that his mom taught him how to play guitar....another ^five to the women-folk!!!!

They played here in Columbia a couple of months ago Opening for Cowboy Mouth. Awesome set, and killer bass. Half of their songs had a bass player playing lead and a another one playing rhythm bass. My brother and I both liked them better than Cowboy Mouth.
