What are you Listening to? Let's share!

Or have you been listening to a lot lately. Seems this should be a standard on a music forum right? Pretty self explanatory but if you don't get it then follow my lead

I've got a couple

First is Netsky, sick DnB but very chillaxing at the same time

Next is this band Whores. they only have one youtube video I could find so here's their myspace

Link Removed very heavy very loud :bassist::bassist:
(and no I'm not advertising my own music idk if that's against the rules but I'm just saying)
So what have you guys been digging lately?

I just got the Hendrix Valleys of Neptune cd and have been enjoying it all afternoon. Billy Cox at his best. Oh and the guy on guitar isn't bad ether!

I had an almost private show by Hendrix and The Experience in the crater of Diamond Head, Hawaii when I walked into a 4-hour practice session for their show that night at the Kaiser Pavilion in Waikiki.

Just another guy and me from the same ship - sitting in that little bowl they had there in the front row and Hendrix talking to us a few times and he was playing, looking for that one-magical chord yet.

I try to keep those mental video tapes alive and well-oiled for my personal Hendrix party in my head. As I age though, they are getting more and more data drop-outs.

Who was on bass? Noel or Billy?

Ever since I popped the "Monsters Of Folk" cd in my car player, I have had a hell of a time prying it out. This collaboration between Yim Yames (My Morning Jacket) and Conner Oberst (Bright Eyes) is just way better than I expected it to be... and I expected it to be very good. Every track is a winner, and a couple are flat-out brilliant.

Recently via GrooveShark, I've been listening to:

Weather Report
Frank Zappa
The Beatles
The Police
The Jam
Rush
XTC

Over the weekend I was smokin' some meats on my new grill and had my laptop, speakers+sub and my little Fender BXR practice amp out there with me for the entire time jammin' with all these tunes, checkin' the temp, adding more wood, jamming some more...

Best day I've had in a LONG time, practice-wise!
