So glad Duff got his life back and his health back together. He definitley went through the wringer of drugs and pop stardom.
Here is the thing that's interesting to me. He decided to go back to school after "the ride" and chose Seattle U, which is a tough, tough school. He did really well and massive kudos to him. On the other end of Broadway on Capitol Hill in Seattle sits another school of higher learning - the Corhish School of the Arts - which once even had Gary Peacock in residence for a few years. Why didn't Duff go study there?
Duff had (has) access to the major, major West Coast studios on this planet available to him. Why didn't he study there?? Go up to a studio cat and "Hey - could you show me" or "what do you recommend so I can back other...." or " help with my technique".
I would ask the same thing of Nikki Sixx. You two had such an incredible opportunity. To each their own. I'm glad Duff is taking responsible care of his money and the future of his kids.
Didn't care for the first book - not enough behind the scenes studio info to interest me. Won't be reading this one. But am very glad he's clean and happy, and in a good space with his life and fam. That is what is truly important.
