Right now I am reading three books actually.

Crime & Punishment by Fjodor Dostojevskij (I have like 20 pages left though)
Hell's Angels by Hunter S. Thompson
The Castle by Franz Kafka

I read that 6 months ago. Totally changed my attitude about
the Eagles, and probably not for the better.

OTOH, I don't think Felder told the truth about his drug and
marital infidelity issues either, I think he fluffed a lot of that.
As a result, I don't necessarily believe everything he says
about Henley and Frey for that matter.

His take on Joe Walsh is quite interesting though.

Good read through and through.

That's funny, because I was just telling someone that exact thing. I'm only about halfway through the book. But Felder, so far, has come across as a major douche. He is a complete twit. He really tries to portray himself as this innocent guy who was a good father and husband, despite his coke habit. But the ways he uses this book to make him look like a good guy just backfire. "I was a good dad. I only catered to my blow habit whilst on stage, at practice or in the studio. I never would (okay, rarely) take it home in front of my wife and kid." That was a paraphrase, but anyone who read it gets the gist.

I hated it when I had to read it in High School but I'm going to give it another shot. Partly because of The Resistance, also because I enjoy this sort of topic now, and also because I've matured so much in the time since then .

Just finished the Iliad and have about ten pages left in Genesis. My reading list is crazy year for university but it looks like its going to be a good time.

Wow, you people are all highbrow! Right now I'm reading Old Tin Sorrows by Glen Cook and The War God's Own by David Weber. I'll probably finish one or the other today, and start something just as pulpy tomorrow.

I read my Bible daily, and occasionally delve into real literature, how-to books, and more normal fiction but mostly, I burn through Sci-fi and Fantasy novels like other people change socks.
