What ate us?

The thing about the short faced bears is that they had such long legs. Paleontologists believe they could run much faster than modern bears and modern bears aren’t slow.
Considering that a grizzly can outrun a horse, I am happy to avoid hanging out with short faced, human eating bears.

Shark attacks on humans are generally mistakes by the shark. Humans are not very nutritious. Sharks spit us out. Not that being spat out by a shark does you much good after that first big bite.
