What bass do you dream of?

My dreams are of the sunburst 60th Anniversary Precision that I have on layaway.

Human nature being what it is, I'm pretty certain that I'll develop GAS for something else once it's paid off.

I'm already thinking of a less expensive used American P-bass to use when I don't feel comfortable taking this to a gig. I'll save up and grab one off of CL when I can.

The 60th Anniversary P is at the forefront of my dreams until it is in my hands.

I dream of this.

Holy smokes that's a real beauty to dream of. Mines bolt-on and all black. That one's got some real personality!

I dream of two basses:

A semi-hollow body sun or tobacco burst Jazz with: body and neck binding and abalone dots, rosewood fingerboard, and a Babicz bridge.

A semi-hollow body lined-fretless '51 Precision with: body binding and abolone dots.

Eventually I'll have the money to make them a reality. In the meantime I'm going to pull a Jaco on my '51 Squier. I just have this crazy notion it's going to sound fantastic as a fretless.

That one is real perty right dere!!! That Warwick. I'm dreaming of a black brubaker KXB-5 with birdseye maple board, white MOP block inlays. matching black headstock. Bartolini pre and pickups and that killer Brubaker tone. Kevin Brubaker is going to start making this for me next month some time.
