Well, what bass do you dream of owning? Mine's the Warwick Streamer LX

My dreams are already pretty well fulfilled, for the most part. But if you're asking, what would be the ultimate electric bass to own, one which I may never be able to justify buying due to the big price tag, I would have to say it's an Alembic Series I or Series II, long scale.

In terms of pure swish, it would be hard to do better than that...

Seems like it changes daily. Right now, a Fender Blacktop Jazz. I've got a 4-string set of D'Addario Tapewounds that need a home, and my only bass is a 5er. I'm really GASing for a Blacktop Jazz... As soon as funds allow, I could very well see myself rocking one.

Don't really dream of basses, but a Fodera, Alembic or Carl Thompson would be neat to own. Funny, I have owned likely 100 basses over the last 25+ years..... and never even seen one of these in the flesh.
