What Bass Has The Most Growl

Someone should start a thread asking what growl really is for them !
For me it is a slight mid to high mid bump with a little natural overdrive like my old ampeg V4b does.

But seriously, I agree that it's in the fingers. More specifically, in the attack. I can make all my basses growl, but it's harder to do with some than with others.

Use Fender Classic Jazz Bass 70' with an Ampeg. Tune your amp with 6/10 bass, 8/10 meds and 9/10 tremble...

You will groal like nobody knows !!
