It is a great bass. It’s a Gibson American LPB-2. Bartolini pickups and preamp volume, treble, bass and blend. Great sound! This picture is from my NBD post from last year.

They were great sounding basses, if a bit heavy (mine is almost 10 pounds).
The slab passive ones sound great recorded, big fat tone. I’ve used it in the studio for four records (two of mine and two for someone else).
it’s not a P sound, but a heavy rock tone that really holds the bottom well with good note definition.
