What bass will you be playing when the Rapture happens?

Peavey Palaedium.

I'll be playing my Bill Dickens model, hitting the stage for my church's usual, non-rapture-happening, Saturday night worship service. If the rapture deadline is EST, then I'll just be doing soundcheck.

As has been pointed out, Christ warned about this sort of thing in Matthew 24, and I'm feeling free to ignore this particular prediction and any other doomsday declarations. Of course, if it does actually occur, I'll be happy to be the first to step up and say that I didn't see it coming.

I'll have my fretless Kubicki Ex-Factor and enjoying my first gig with it, backing up a friend on acoustic guitar - can't wait!

And indeed the Bible did say no man knows the date nor the hour - because you can only effective manipulate people through future predictions if you keep it vague. The only thing wrong with this group of nuts is that they were incautious enough to set a date. Even Vito Corleone knew the psychology involved in keeping people wondering: "Someday — and that day may never come — I may come to you for a favor." :D

the more interesting question is which kind of cable you will be using. gonna need quite a long one or a *very* good wireless system. (or does the amp get teleported too?)
don't forget: the show must go on!

Sorry, only people go. The dammed who are left behind get all their cool 5 and 6 string basses. :bassist::hyper::bassist::hyper::bassist::hyper:
