I'm only half-joking here.

A student of mine has shown that his talents don't stop at playing music - they extend to BUILDING basses as well. He's up to 3 so far, and each one is a big step over the last.

He's given them three-digit serial numbers (#001, #002, and #003)... so I'm thinking of purchasing the seventh one (when I can afford it and I know just what I want).

But I thought it would make a great thread: What kind of bass do YOU think 007 would have played? Something imminently "Bond... James Bond" and nobody else. Understated, yet wonderfully classy, unique, yet versatile and useable (unlike a bass made out of, say, the skull of a longhorn steer), and the kind of bass that anyone could pick up and say, "wow".

So whaddya think? ;)

P Bass ...white with Black pickguard... I have one and it is a chameleon ...the classier I dress the classier the bass looks..

but it wouldn't be a normal PBass.. when you dial the right volume/tone combination it shoots an explosive and then turn them again and it detonates
