As far as I see it, the good feelings that a Barry Manilow fan gets from his music are as legitimate and valid as as the good feelings fans of Jodie Foster, Marcus Miller. Patrick Stuart, Liberace, Michael Bolton, and Flea get from their art.You are entitled to all the opinions you have to the aforementioned names. However, none of us is in any position to take away those feelings from anyone. That's childish, boorish, and egomaniacal behavior. What gives you the right? Because you have a modicum of electric bass playing ability? Is it because you have nothing useful to contribute to this forum but acrimony in the place of useful knowledge? Is it because you own a Fodera? ? Is it because you own an overpriced EA rig? Are these the reasons you believe you get to be the Art Police?

As you can see, my vocabulary ranges a little higher than :confused: :confused: :confused:

Grow up and get off of it.

Was that little speal directed at me? cos if it was, then you know what you can do. Stay out of it if you dont like it. I aint taking Flea or his talents away from anyone cos I like him and the CHilis are one of my fave bands. Who are you to call me childish, boorish and egomaniacal? do you even know me? no.

Dag nabbit 5 string now I have to side with you. Know name calling, but confusion who does this guy think he is, we are all fine having nice little respectful arguments and he comes in here yelling at us, and u wanna say childish behavior hold me back dont make me unleash the beast and i could care less about your refined vocabulary. If i wanted to be british i would live in britian. there now because i know half of that was directed toward me and the other half toward five string i would like no more disrespectful remarks. We all have our say in.

This is not an opinion. It's a statement of fact, and it also applies to the moderators who will undoubtedly chime in with their pseudo-intellectual "I'm bigger than God because I'm a mod on a chat forum" crap. This forum needs guys like me, not you. Ban me. I don't care. You are wanna be losers, and will always, always remain so. Even after you delete this post so the rest of the world will not see the truth.

I htink this whole thing has been slightly blown out of proportion.

Myself and chimpimp were politely discussing our views on who is and isn't charismatic, with no name calling i must add. We weren't being personallly offensive to anyone (I was trying not be , anyway). I wasn't Flea bashing cos like I said, I like him too!

Then Mr Htag comes along and decides that we are childish and boorish and egomaniacal. Was Chimpimp or myself being egomaniacal? did etiher of us say we were better than Flea or anyone else? Was your input into our little discussion warranted or needed? The answer to all these questions is no.

I resent comments like that. you dont know me. what do you do for a living? You could be working as a garbage man for all I know by I aint insulting you cos I dont know you.

What I find the most interesting is Ive never had a personal problem with anyone here or with the mods.

I ask this what has mr htag seen that caused him to lash out. Is there something going on that I havent seen?? Or is it simple anger directed to any authority small or large, real or pretend.

Fill me in. PM me or post it.

no offense cause i know your on my side lets not try to psychologically figure whats wrong with this guy b/c the symptoms are idiot idiot idiot and idiot. now on the fact that i will be going through with this strike as of 11:00 pm my time(eastern) as well for the forum nazi htag, i have a plan and that requires no banning whatsever anyone who reads this forum shall give a response that sets him in his place and my insults are more original than pie, and you know it.
