Home Depot or Dayton Audio (Parts Express house brand) for speaker cable. Belden, Canare, or Mogami for line or instrument level applications. Neutrik, Switchcraft, or G&H for connectors. Charlie's Solder Shack for assembly. 
I had a Monster for almost 20 years.. then it started getting noisy so I got Spectraflex.
I like it just as much as the Monster.

Bayou Cables! when I get some more money, I'll be ordering another one from him, cant have too many cables. And for my pedalboard I use the Planet Waves cable kit, good stuff there too
I've been using Road Hogs for about 7 years and I've never had any issues! They're thick, but really tough.
+1. Road Hogs are tough as nails. You can strangle sumo wrestlers with those things.
I've never tried that, but if I see one I'll give it a go!
It sucks to kneel down on a Road Hog cable on a dark stage though...
I think they're the cheapest so I chose it.
