You would need some sort of series to parallel box between your two extension cabs, but if you are willing to jump through the Hoops to do it, it would be a load that is safe for the amp. But it would cut the power down so much that I just don't see the point. I forget what impedance it would run at, but I'm guessing it would be somewhere around 12 ohms, which could theoretically cut it down to less than 200 Watts.
This popped up when I doing a search for the latest 210/115 Ampeg extension cabs - I had just ordered a cover for my BA 115v2. I realize this is an older post. Still thought I might add my 2c's.
I have both a BA 115v2 and a BA 210v2, the BA 115 was my first Ampeg and it did fine for practice the gigs we were doing (small venues). A friend of mine was telling me about the BA 210 and that they had more power and a bit more punch with the 2x10 setup. About six months later the Rocket series came out and the BA v2 prices dropped, I had a MF credit and decided to go for a BA 210v2. That was a few years back, I mainly use my 115 because it has rollers. There are a couple of options one I found here which is pretty cool.
At this point my 115 seems to keep doing the job, I'll probably make a roller base for the 210 so I don't have to drill the cab. The wedge shape doesn't help for adding rollers. While I thought it was pretty cool when I got it, I tend to use the amps upright. Couldn't be happier with these combo's, sound great.

- Ampeg designed these amps to configured in a master\speaker setup using the effects loops. Out from the master and In on the second combo. I tried it and it sounds pretty good.
- Use and AB switch and run both amps.
- Buy a compatible cabinet 1x15 or 2/10 8ohm - I think you need that to get the full 450w out of the BA210
