what cab to pair with a Fearless F112?

I am trying to pare down my cab collection. I have a Fearless F112 that is going nowhere. I also have an Avatar B212 neo 8ohm and a Berg CN410 4 ohm that will eventually go. What I am looking to do keep the F112 and find a 2nd 1x12 that I can pair with the Fearless when needed or if I want to use my SVT CL head from time to time or for bigger shows. The other amps I use are an Aguilar TH500, an Ampeg B15 or a Crown XLS1502 power amp...

I know that finding a 2nd F112 would be the best choice, but finances might dictate otherwise. What would be a good 2nd cab to use? Ideally budget is around $400. used Ampeg SVT 112AV? used LDS 12/6?

In truth, since you've already found your holy grail in the F112, anything else is going to sound like a compromise.
I don't know how often an LDS 12/6 would show up on the used market, but that might get you in the ballpark.

The F112 is in another league. The only thing you can do is to match it and get another F112.

I have the same "problem" and decided to build a fearful 12/6, can not really imagine other portable cab to match.
just won't use both cabs that often to justify spending on an another f112. Fearlul will cost half the price of fearless.

Personally I would not try to mix a cab design such as Fearless F112 with full range running woofers of a different cab.

This is probably your best bet. Build (or have built) another cab with that same woofer.

I doubt that a cheap'ish production 112 cabinet would be worth considering. You will add significantly to your total weight and schlep at gigs, but not so much on the loudness side. The F112 can eat a solid amount of power. Coupling it with a weaker cab will force the limitations of the weaker cab on the F112 and both will be going at the maximum rate of the weaker cab. You will, in effect get something equal to the weaker cab x2.

Resist the urge to pull the trigger and purchase something inferior. Wait until you have enough $$ to purchase a 2nd fEarless. In the meantime, use the other cabs you have when you think a 112 is not enough.

Sounds unanimous on a second F112. I have a Fearless 15/6/1 and can't imagine pairing with anything else if I thought a second cab was needed.

Used fEARful 12/6/1 or 12sub? My neighbor has an '81 SVT that he pairs with fEARful 12/6/1 and 12sub with new crossovers. It is terrific.

To me the obvious choice would be a 12sub . Same woofer probably tuned very close to the same and the cab designed by the same guy who designed the F112 . I'm with the other guys who said 12-6 or 12 sub for around half the price of an F112 . Same family .

I think for the rather "smallish" F112 format there is not neccessarly a need for a mirrored F112.

benefits is quite small (if ever audible) in this case of smallish cab format, for a new custum built in question, the way to go!

The idea was to tell the OP if he can grap another one for cheap that was not mirrored, then grap it, There is also very good midrange/treble coupling provided even with none mirrored cabs due to the "narrow" cab format.
