I like 2x10 cabs and 1x15 cabs … preferably 8 ohms and light enough to carry
Epifani makes amazing cabinets. There are plenty of deals to be found used! I got my Epifani UL610 for $450 in like new condition with it's slip cover. That's crazy for a boutique level 6x10 that weighs 84lbs, Epifani stuff is usually pretty cheap used, I don't know if it's brand recognition or what, but I'll take it!
Fender Rumble cabs are awesome, I had 2 v3 1x15s since they came out quite a few years back, those were 39lbs each. Mesa road ready cabs are killer, but very heavy. But within your price range!
I would have to say, if there's one around that you can snag, an SWR Henry the 8x8 would be sweet, I played mine with an HA3500 and it was a very nice pair!

...Eden cabs are pretty sweet and priced very reasonably on the used market...
probably a 2x15" or an 8x10", I like older Ampeg stuff and Kustom has some descent cabs from the 70s but thats just me

They can sometimes be found for $500 gently used. Though might not be suitable for all music types, and a bit heavy.
