G'day, just wondering what you guys use for a case? I am in Australia and it seems hard to get a Spector case. Any help would be great.

Hi Rainus. Apart form buying a factory one online and having it shipped, which can get exe, I actually use an Ashton hardcase case, which is suitable because it is long and wide enough for a Spector - at least my 2003 5CRFM.
Because the bass moved around a little too much for my liking I did cut some polystyrofoam to shape, and cover it in a soft black synthetic fur. Once I put that in the case, the bass did not move at all. See images.
If you're wondering about the colour, PJ Rubal assured me that it is officially blue, which it is in some light, purple in others and almost black in low light conditions. Cheers.
