After a lot of thinking it will be Lake Placid Blue, the reason why is because Ice blue metallic differs in colors a lot! Lake placid blue looks fantastic with a maple neck and black pickguard! Shall I post the results in this post or open a new one?

Living in Pittsburgh, I would paint it "Steelers Yellow". With the black guard it would be "Perfect"!

Woodgrain is not fantastic, the sides are actually quite horrible to look at it. So definitly not a see through color!

From Warmoth? I'm finding that pretty surprising unless if was a drastically marked down showcase offering, their stuff is usually pretty great from wild to subdued but rarely "horrible".

I was surprised too! But I was convinced to go for a solid color, so no problems for me.
