Thanks for the input everyone. I plan on responding to as many posts as I can very soon. I’ve been wrapped up in work and moving as of late…
Just to hit quickly on a few points without going into too much detail regarding my signal path experimentation, I’m looking to use my M87 to compress the low frequencies after I split my signal with my Byte Heaven SC-1 after my Micro POG...
I’m doing this because I don’t like how the M87 makes my full signal path sound (lows trigger too much compression). I used my Fuzzrocious Feed Me V1 in front of it as a HPF once and it sounded great, but I had to add my low end back later in the chain as it started to sound a little thin in a mix. Seems like too many steps...
I’ve read where using compression in front of the POG may yield tracking issues, so allowing the lows to pass through and using a blend option prior to the POG seems to me to be the best option for doing this. I plan on using it before the POG because it splits the signal path and I want both paths to utilize the compression...
I have many pedals I’ve been looking into and new info that I’d like to share. Plan on sharing them soon in a future post. Thanks to everyone for the input so far!
