What did you do with your first bass?

my first bass was a peavey milestone, i ended up putting some seymour duncan quarter pounders in it and doing a camouflage paint job on it to make it a bit different.

I now use it to practice on as it feels comfy seeing as i played it for a fair few years.

My first bass is now in a case under my bed. It doesn't get much play these days.

My first bass was a Peavey Fury and after I got a Carvin LB70 fretless I traded the Peavey for a Direct box and four sets of Rotosound strings. I got hosed, but I didn't know any better.

I still play my first bass, a Squier Affinity P-Bass, which I bought in 2007. What did I do with it? I modded the schitt out of it! All that's left that's original is the body, neck, and tuners. Everything else was upgraded.

I traded my first bass, a 1969 Gibson EB3 for a 1971 Ampeg Dan Armstrong sometime in early 70's. I wish I still had the Dan Armstrong even though it was a fairly lousy playing bass. It did look cool, and it's probably worth a lot of money. I saw one sell for over $2500 on ebay a couple of years ago.
