I just learnt that Noodle, after clearing Kong Studios of a host of zombies, was supposed to parachute off her ill-fated windmill flying island, during the making of the El Mañana filum. Something went terribly wrong. But Murdoc, with a few diabolical cards up his sleeve, had a cunning plan. "There's no way I'm killing Noodle. She's Noodle!" he was heard to whisper, to a rabble of shady insiders on set.

Meanwhile, Russell the drummer, having embarked, out of the blue, on a marathon ocean swim to find Plastic Beach, had consumed so much garbage and toxic waste on the way, he'd become a giant. Noodle and the now immense Russell arrive at Plastic Beach at the same time. Noodle, having just successfully administered a lethal remedy, curing Flatulence, proceeds to shut down cyborg Noodle permanently after it, all of a sudden, tries to kill Murdoc. Lucky!

There's more to it, I suspect.
