What did you learn today?

It's a musician website. The thread is named "What did you learn today?"

I imagine these members took a literal reading of the title and they had became proficient at the songs they mention.
And it's fair enough. It's an open-ended question, and those were the things they learned that day.

I watched two movies over the weekend that I found out were remakes. Neither will be mentioned because they were both so bad that it makes me wonder how terrible the original had to have been for somebody to churn a remake that was undoubtedly equally awful.
Now I'm curious. One awful remake of a movie was Bedazzled, but the original is hilarious.

Okay, one was Black Christmas. Never heard of it nor of its two predecessors. From what I read on imdb, the original (mid-70s) was fairly decent and the 1st remake (mid-2000s) wasn't as good. But this latest remake was downright awful by almost all reviewers. Myself included.

Gotcha. Now I will steer clear of this. To repay you, I will advise you to never mix beef jerky and grapefruit juice.

The original King Kong is still the best one!

Surprisingly the one with Jack Black was much better than I anticipated. Who'd a thunk?
Kong himself was easily the best thing about it, IMO.

The dinosaur stampede, the giant insect scene, Kong fighting 3 T-Rexes instead of just one, while catching Naomi Watts over and over again, and she barely gets a scratch?:eyebrow::rollno: Too many unnecessary over-the-top scenes for me.
