What do I do with this Charvel Bass?

a guy who just started in Dec of 2014 with one neutral feedback out of 7 total already and 3 horrible pictures? And you trusted him.....

Even in this blurry picture, you can see the thumb rest, and sharpie on the lower edges of the body! That's a No Go right there!

Yeah over 100, try 275. I didn't want to pay that much but I haven't seen one in this color before and I needed a red one to have red white and blue Charvels.

Yes the bad photos and the fact the guy has just 7 feedbacks (and only 5 of them are for selling) were red flags but when it's something you specifically want, and have been looking for, it can seem like destiny when you finally come across it, and that's tough to resist.

This seller has no future in the shipping business (that box!) but he's got a lock on Guitar Center used bass photographer.

and if you are wondering what color that is, it is candyapple red like the 2 in my picture.

Ya I trusted him because he did say it was in excellent condition. I'm not really ashamed of buying it, the fault is on his side. If it was what he said it was no one would bat an eye at the fact I bought it with terrible pictures. Cool pic. I also have a guitar in this color, love it.

Sometimes your heart tells you to take a risk or to trust someone, and then you find out more, nothing wrong with that. I like to give the "little guys" (in this case, new sellers) a chance some times, but it is riskier - had the same experience with house contractors, for that matter. Sometimes the good deals make up for the bad. Hope it works out - doesn't reflect badly on you at all, you can't win big (or score a great deal) if you never take any risks.

The seller has agreed to refund the money, my soon to be wife tells me. It was purchased on her account. She says she thinks there is a link for the shipping label, which means that its been paid by eBay, but she only checked it on her phone quick and told me. The bass was supposed to be my birthday gift, so much for that.
