What do I do?

I was jamming with a friend yesterday and i turned my amp up past like 5 for the first time(I'm using GK 700RB-II throught SWR workingman's 410T) and all the speakers started moving very violently. That isn't a problem for me exept when i went past 5 or 6 the amp made a horrible whinning noise. My head is rated 320Watts at 8ohms and cab is 400@8 ohms. I afraid to turn my my amp any higher in fear of blowing the speakers. I bought the amp new while the cab was used i still have time to return the cab if this a seriuos problem.

Sounds like you don't know the history of the cabinet. If it's giving you trouble, take it back. It shouldn't be doing that.
