What do you do when you cant sleep?

Søvnløse netter jeg ligger og vrir meg
Timene krabber sakte forbi meg

Vel, hva skal man gjøre en natt som i natt
Tenke på ditt og tenke på datt
Gå ut på kjøkkenet og ta seg litt mat
Pisse på vasken
Ta seg en rask en

Yeah, I hear that for some people insomnia is caused by reading in bed.

First try drinking a warm glass of milk (note: repeating this step will not neccessarily improve your chances of falling asleep). Other than that, I'd say practice a little bass. If you're not going to sleep, why not use the time that your awake to do something productive? In fact, that may not be such a bad idea, because your mind is generally more creative when you're tired and want to fall asleep. This is because the left side of your brain more or less shuts off during that time.
 
I watch TV for a bit. But it's always the interesting "we only show this at 2 am" stuff. Like PBS documentaries about the most random or obscure thing, or cartoons that are decades old, like old school mickey mouse cartoons.



Or I just watch the golf channel. No other sport can put you to sleep faster.
