Yep. The photographer had it in his studio. Since it's a 6 piece band, there was plenty of downtime (wardrobe changes, etc), so I spent most of it playing on that bass. We eventually decided that it had to be put into some of the shots!

Well that all depends on what you mean by 'that'.
The clothing of the Maori man there is a Piupiu. Seems to be stylised in a sort of Scottish way, so they could be from, as we say in NZ 'Up North'. Which is anywhere past the swollen sphincter that is Auckland. The women in the back are wearing a more traditional Piupiu. If you are referring to the 'dance' they are doing, it is a Haka. It is used to welcome visitors at a Powhiri, which is highly sacred as outsiders cannot enter the Pa's ( fortified settlement) Wharenui (meeting house) without being welcomed and cleansed. Also used to lay down a challenge or as a pre-battle tradition to scare off the rival tribe. More commonly, it is 'that thing that the All Blacks do'
