What do you regret selling/trading?

My 1983 Fender Precision Elite II. I had this around 92-93. 1st thing i did was replace 1 pickup with a Dimarzio model P and then i had it refinished in Sparkle Magenta(pink)!!! About a year later I decided to change the finish to a really nice blue(thank god!!). when i got the bass body back it never sounded the same. I tried other pickups, EMG too, it just lost that killer tone. I traded it for a bass head, i think....

My Yamaha TRB-6P. I loved it when I first got it but it just wasn't my sound and tended to favour my other basses. I also don't play 6 strings much nowadays and its sale helped fund my sadowsky purchase. And yet I wish I still have it.

Bigger mistake was the selling of my Trace Elliot 2x15 cab and head. I sold them way too cheap.

the one i regretted alot was suprisingly my highway one precision and my 75 reissue jazz bass. Other than that i don't have much regrets now since ive got a highway one precision again this time upgraded to nordstrand pickups and new wiring. I also got a american standard jazz butterscotch blonde ash body maple neck, has the same vibe of the 75 reissue.

The Peavey TL5 and US Millenium 5 basses I had . They were just great basses in a band mix . Here's a picture of the TL5 and one of the Millenniums I had with one of my SX basses .

I don't regret it yet, but I do miss my Bassman 135 & 215. That thing sounded so damn good. Just needed to have about twice the output.

I'm part hoarder and part sentimental, so I generally don't like selling things. I've only sold 1 bass and 1 amp (at the same time). The bass was a blue Vantage Flying V bass. It wasn't particularly special, but it was my first bass. I had to sell them to get a little money to move out of my parents' house to a different city. The bass was a Yamaha B100 amp with a 15" speaker. Didn't sound particularly special, but again it was my first amp.

I can't find an exact photo of my old Vantage Flying V bass, but I was able to find a picture of the amplifier. A picture of that model was posted by a different TB'er in this thread:

1) 1990 Gibson Custom shop Thunderbird. Black sparkle(actually blue) 1 of 2 made. Custom finish by Tom Murphy. Bought it brand new, unsold in 2001. Had been a window queen for 11 years. If anyone ever sees such a bass please let me know I want it back.

I've sold a ton of basses I don't miss, including:

A pre-EB Stingray (boat anchor)
A Precision Elite ash/maple (almost as heavy as the Stingray)
A pre-Gibson Tobias (very nice, but not "me")

But I really miss two:

A Modulus Q6 with a slight backbow to the neck. You could still get the action pretty low, and it sounded great.

A Fender MIA Jazz, 2005, that I bought new. A year later, I told the gal I sold it to that if she tired of it, I would buy it back. That offer still stands.

I hate to be the one to follow KONG! Beacuse whatever I sold/traded can never match the awesomeness that is KONG!

But the few I really miss are:

Pre EB Sting Ray- natural w/black PG
Steinberger XM-2 in white
1983 Ibanez Musician (MC924) in Metallic Black

And to a lesser extent the Charvel 3B in "Firecrackle"
