I have tons of stuff, but lately mostly using a Sound City X188. That's pretty "other."
from Roost Southend on Sea
and a Simms Watts AP 200 super which is close as hell
both are now modded to a more Reve/Joyce/ Hiwatt schematic.
All with enough mundorf caps to dim the lights in manchester on switch on.
Have you still got original partridge transformers mate.
I run one through an Eden 8 x 10LXT and the other through a pair of
Ampeg Altec 115's.
If you lived in europe you can cheat and flip the mains selector to
220 volts shortens tube life a bit but wow.
But I have only got four good original Genalex KT 88's though.
Have you heard any feedback about the supposed Sovtek Golden Lion reissues.
