What does an average jazz bass body unloaded weigh?

Looking at some warmoth bodies and curious what light, average, and heavy jazz bass bodies would weigh.

Anywhere from the mid 4lbs to the mid or upper 6lbs. They make a "Dinky" Jazz body that's slightly downsized and lighter as well as chambered bodies but really you have to look at a lot of any of them to find a light one even the Dinkys and the chambered ones can be relatively heavy. So for an overall lightweight build you really need to source lightweight components too.

Low fives seems to be fairly typical for an alder solid body, with a few in the high fours

Thanks, guys. They actually have a short scale jazz body right now that is under 4 pounds. I wonder if that would be neck heavy with a 30 inch scale neck on it.

Just be sure to use ultra lite tuners and you should be fine.
