What does everyone think to my preamp design?

I suggest building some sort of pedal from a kit or PCB; you will learn as I have that cramming lotsa cool ideas and features quickly becomes complicated by the laws of space, physics and reality — my ideas were/are doable, just not within the time frame desired and not small enough (even if I went SMD) to fit in a 1590BB...

My first pedal is a whole lot of "just 'cause you can, doesn't mean you should..." Four stompswitches on a 1590BB, sure! Why not 5? It's do-able, you can put that many stompers inside...

Above all though, have fun with it!

Lots of cool ideas. Too many for a single pedal box. Maybe a larger project box that spreads out a little left to right?

And, yeah, the slider is begging for trouble.

And add a frequency control for at least the mids. If you can dial in the mid frequency your mid dial will be a crapshoot.

I like where your head's at for the most part. Perhaps it's "a bit much" but that's part of its charm.

I could be wrong but I believe proper design starts from circuit design not from enclosure layout
