What does GAS mean?

"Gear" is more like it. Why stop at guitars/basses when you can go the whole nine yards and go nuts after anything in the chain from the musical instrument up to the cab and anything peripheral to that (like acoustic tile, stage rugs, etc.)? That would be an acute case of the GAS.

Yes but it's implied! Of course if one cough cough... needs a new guitar/bass, they must have the new 4x10 cabs and SVT to play said geetar through.
