What dog do you own?

My boy, Ranger, is a beagle-mix rescue pup...

We have a couple of Chihuahua mixes. Both rescues. Both about the same age and size. Very different personalities.
Charlotte is a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua (Rat-Chi) mix. Big ears, big heart. Tough girl (in her mind). Found on the streets in an industrial area.
Delilah is a Dachshund/Chihuahua (Cha-Weenie) mix. Looks like "Dobby." Total softy.
Couldn't be happier with them.

Caleb, a mix of golden lab and something else. I'd say a boxer, but your guess is as good as mine.

He's my best bud and an absolute delight to have in the house. Love to spend time and play with him. He's awesome, plan & simple!

And here he is with his other master. :)

We've had several dogs.

We had a English Bulldog until I was 6 or 7 named Rambo. He was my protector for the longest time. If he was in the room, my parents were the only ones allowed to hold me as a child.

After that, we ran through a string of Chihuahuas. I wasn't a huge fan of them, and all three we owned were temperamental, but they helped with my brother's asthma. Ozzie was my favorite, and sadly he got into some antifreeze. Winston (my mom smoked Winstons for years, eye roll) lost a battle to cancer at around 4 years old. And Whitey never made it a full year before he got hit by a car.

Since then, my parents have had a pair of Llhasa Apso's. Harley is 5 and Nikki is 6. Love those dogs to death. Harley still sleeps with me when I visit, but Nikki is my father's pup all the way.

My current roommate has 2 Boston Terriers. Mack is around 16, blind, deaf, and still really not used to me. Storm, however, took to me as soon as I moved in. Her favorite activity is to be my lap warmer during football and hockey games or when I'm playing xbox.

I'll have to edit some pictures in when I get home.

I don't have one, but my wife and I both want an English Bulldog. I am sure we will get one once we have the space for a dog.

Do your self a favor and look into an Olde English Bulldogge. They are healthier, more active and live longer. They also still look the part. They have a tendency to be slightly larger though, but the vet bill savings are worth it.

This is my "Nephew" Marley. Hes a half pit bull, half American bulldog. He is one of the smartest dogs I have ever seen.

Zilla (from this thread)

and Beans

Both are rescue mutts. Zilla is Lab + Golden Retriever + Basenji + bunch of other stuff.

Beans is Mastiff + American Bulldog + bunch of other stuff. He went from 20 lbs at 5 months to 50 at 8 months and he's still growing like crazy. We've had to have a new back fence put in already because he just hopped over the old one whenever he wanted to go explore.

edit: of course, I just looked out the back and what did I see? Beans going straight up and over 6 foot of chainlink fence. That dog is made out of springs, I tell you...
